Hallmark Birthday Greetings to Shirley MacLaine. Shirley traveled to India in her youth to attune herself to her past lives so that he could make the most of the present. She speaks openly about her new age awareness and has never been afraid to express her views in a way that is worthy of admiration. She is a powerfully magnetic and compelling woman and her reserve of Taurus sticktoittiveness and savoir faire projects and reflects light on an enlightened soul who has a heart of grace, resolve and compassion. We love you, Shirley. Keep shining.
Say hello to the bad guy, mang!!!! Al Pacino is forever immortalized as Tony Montana, the Cuban exile with a penchant for powdery substance. Every time I see Pacino in a flick I always think of Scarface. It’s too bad there can never be a sequel because, of course, we all know how the movie ended. I wonder if they’d ever dare remake the iconic Scarface. If they did, Pacino would have to come back as el jefe supremo.
Hallmark Birthday Greetings to the lovely and talented Renee Zellweger. The actress who played British sexpot Bridget Jones is as sweet as she is charming. Originally from Texas, Zellweger exhibits a gentility that is patently lone star state. I used to work at this day spa place on Sunset Blvd in L.A. and Renee would come in for a treatment or two. I remember when I waited on her she looked at me with a nice grin and asked, “Where are you from, what are you?” I replied, “I’m Mexican, Native American and a quarter Irish from L.A.” to which she answered, “You look nice.” It was my ten minutes with Renee. She made my whole day! She’s one of the nicest people I’ve ever met and one of the best actors in Hollywood. Through the fame and all of the glitz and glamor somehow she has remained down-home and nice. I think it has to do with her Taurean grace and Venusian sophistication.
